This reader has a longer swipe length (compared to other miniature readers) which minimizes any errors when swiping cards. It contains a built-in rechargeable battery which will give up to 30 hours of continuous use before requiring re-charging - that’s over 50000 swipes! Also, the built-in automatic shutdown (user programmable) powers down the PR-232 when it is idle to conserve battery power even longer. Re-charging is simple using the AC adapter - the battery is fully charged in 2-3 hours. Use the PR-232 to track time and attendance, credit cards, home visits, outdoor events, VIP and customer loyalty cards, subcontractors and more!
